What do you think about our future?
“Before joining the Norsk e-Fuel, I was in constant ambiguity regarding flying. I still am, we are a small family of four with a multinational background and our families living 1000km north and south from Oslo. One flight to visit them makes all our carbon footprint reduction efforts throughout the year close to irrelevant. The world is globalized and will remain that way. We will continue to fly long distance in future, but it needs to happen without taking the fossil fuels out of the ground. We will have to use synthetic counterparts where there are technological limitations to electrification. And at Norsk e-Fuel I can actively work towards the possibility of carbon neutral flying starting as early as 2025.” - Samuel, Plant & Expansion Development
Why did you join the Norsk e-Fuel team?
“I have been working in the intersection between technology, finance and sustainability in various positions and companies since the 90’s – at Norsk e-Fuel these experiences aligned to a very interesting and meaningful pathway that just made perfect sense to me. Modern Office in Central Oslo
Our headquarters are situated in Oslo downtown, close to Vippetangen. In a historic harbor building, we work together with other start-ups towards the holistic implementation of circular economy. The building from 1915 was refurbished recently offering a nice, modern environment and flexible office set-up. The space is shared with other, like-minded start-ups working for a successful change towards circular economy.
Apart from opportunities for fruitful exchange, the building houses a canteen staffed with a skilled kitchen crew, preparing fresh lunch menus. Plant based options are always included. And for additional convenience, you will also find safe bike parking spaces, showers, and lockers.
